Best Christmas Comedies list for family and children

Ideas of Christmas movies for the holiday season, to be watched together with family. Most of the movies shown in the list below can be seen by children, as some of them are Christmas animations.

Year: 1989
Main movie idea: Griswolds have a gift of turning the Christmas holiday into a disaster, while trying to maintain order and peace within the family. Managing kids and trying to keep them under control was for me, the funniest part of this movie. You can also learn some parenting tips while watching the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie.

Main movie idea: In Whoville, a solitary Grinch (played by Jim Carrey) is doing his best to ruin the Christmas holidays for the citizens.
You can't really decline a movie with Jim Carrey. Compared to what comedies are released nowadays, this one is worth watching.
